Indoor and outdoor sports facilities on the Anadolu University Yunus Emre ve Eskisehir Technical University İki Eylül campuses serve both University’s students and the academic staff throughout the year. Various activities are also organized in these facilities like spring festivals, sports activities, team and free training activities.

Yunus Emre Campus Sports Facilities

Outdoor Sports Facilities

This sports complex was built for outdoor sports in Yunus Emre Campus. It consists of one basketball court, one tennis court, one volleyball field, and one artificial pitch for football. They are available for the students and the university staff between 08:30 and 23:00 on seven days a week.

Tennis

Consisting of a total of five courts, the facility operates between May and November. Night matches are also possible thanks to the lighting system. Only the university students and staff can make reservations to use the courts.

·Football Field

This football field on the Yunus Emre Campus is at international standards. During the academic year, it is used for league matches between the faculties and schools and staff tournaments.

Sports Hall

This hall provides services for volleyball, basketball, table tennis, step fitness, and aerobics. It is also used for the official games of university teams and sports events between faculties. Sports Hall is open seven days a week between 09:00 and 21:00.

Swimming pool

There are two swimming pools on the Yunus Emre Campus. The facility operates between 07:00 and 23:00 every day. University staff and students, and the locals-if quota is available - can benefit from the facility following a schedule.

Eskisehir Technical University - İki Eylül Campus Sports Facilities

Sports Hall

At national and international standards, the facility offers opportunities for activities such as volleyball, basketball, handball, indoor archery, bodybuilding, fitness, and aerobics. The facility operates on six days a week between 09:00 and 21:00. Students and staff can join monthly programs, such as weight loss, body shaping and firming, cardio workout, and receive guidance from certified and specialist trainers.

Football Field

There is a football field on İki Eylül Campus which conforms to international standards for athletics events and football games. The students of Faculty of Sports Sciences also use this field for educational purposes.

Faculty of Sports Sciences Complex

This complex includes indoor athletics hall, multi-purpose sports hall, and indoor squash, badminton, table tennis, gymnastics, folk dances and rhythm dances halls. The complex is mainly for educational purposes, but the university staff and the locals, subject to membership, can also use this complex.

Sports Activities

Eskisehir Technical University offers many leisure activities on and out of campus. Each year, more than a thousand activities are organized. The university has many facilities to host conferences, concerts and exhibitions, along with specific halls for theatre, opera and movie shows. Students can take the advantage of spending their leisure time by joining cultural activities. Students can also benefit from these activities to earn ECTS credits. Additionally, there are many outdoor events organized on campus and in the city. Students, who are supported by the university, can organize national and international festivals, movie sessions, excursions, etc.
