In the globalized world, thanks to the disappearance of the boundaries of countries, continuously developing technology, diversity of needs and a high level of competition, multidisciplinary systems are becoming more and more important. Industrial Engineering is a multidisciplinary science that deals with designing the systems formed out of the interaction of humans, machines and material and specialises in analysis and design techniques as well as in mathematics, physics, and social sciences in order to explain and evaluate the results obtained from these systems. The Department was established in 2007. The Department offers master's programs - with and without a master's thesis - and a doctoral program.
