Teaching the basic education steps of swimming and watching the related CD’s via VCD. Starting the learning process. |
Week - 4 |
Phase of getting used to water . Explaining the student why we need respiration and eye-openind practices. Starting with small drills about respiration and eye opening in the water. |
Week - 5 |
Giving extensive information about staying on the water surface and moving in the water. Explaining and practising the technical education steps in USA, Russia, Europe, Far East and Turkey. |
Week - 6 |
Starting the phase of moving in the water and theoretical analysis of freestyle swimming technics. Watching the videos of Turkish and foreign swimmers and starting breathing, arm and foot/leg coordination drills in the pool. General overview to the backstroke swimming technics. |
Week - 7 |
Theoretical analysis and application of breaststroke swimming technics. Recording students with camera and comparing the student’s records with swimmers at the educational videos records. Examining the technique from the point of kinesiolojic view. |
Week - 8 |
Theoretical analysis of backstroke swimming technics. The harmony of the backstroke swimming technics with the pool environment. Watching the videos via VCD and making practice in the pool for teaching purposes. Making records with camera and analyzing the records. |
Week - 9 |
MID-TERM EXAM, Theoretical analysis of backstroke swimming technics. The harmony of the backstroke swimming technics to the pool environment. Watching the videos via VCD and making practice in the pool for teaching purposes. Making records with camera and analyzing the records. |

Theoretical analysis of fly swimming technics. Recording students with camera and comparing the student’s records with swimmers at the educational video records. Examining the technique at the point of biomechanics view. |
