Students will have general knowledge about the study, policy, framework and practices related to Urban Risk Reduction, Resilience and Sustainability on a Global Scale.
To make a general explanation about current and potential urban challenges and risks on a global scale.
To give general information about resilience strategies and sustainability studies of world cities that have similar characteristics with Istanbul.
Students will analyze why the cities should be resilience and sustainable.
To develop holistic approach in order to examine the challenges by using cause effect relationship
Developing integrated thinking skill and multidisciplinary working by examining urban challenges together.
Having a holistic perspective in its own expertise against to changing, differentiating, strengthening, diversifying, expected and unforeseen urban challenges
