  • Analyze the effects of aerodynamic, atmospheric, structural, and propulsion system parameters on aircraft performance across different phases of flight using advanced analytical and numerical methods.
  • Analyze the relationships among aerodynamic forces, thrust, weight, and atmospheric conditions through mathematical models.
  • Examine performance variations during takeoff, climb, cruise, descent, and landing using equations of motion and principles of flight mechanics.
  • Conduct comparative analyses of the effects of different flight conditions, aircraft configurations, and operational constraints on aircraft performance.
  • Evaluate operational, economic, and environmental factors affecting aircraft performance within the framework of scientific methods and regulatory requirements to assess the effectiveness of alternative flight strategies.
  • Evaluate takeoff and landing distances, climb capability, flight envelope, and weight and balance limitations in terms of safety and operational feasibility.
  • Critically evaluate alternative flight strategies in terms of operational efficiency by analyzing the relationships among fuel consumption, range, endurance, and flight costs.
  • Evaluate noise and emission reduction practices in terms of their effects on aircraft performance and environmental sustainability objectives.
  • Develop and validate advanced mathematical and computational models and design operational optimization approaches to solve multivariable aircraft performance problems.
  • Develop analytical or numerical aircraft performance models integrating performance parameters across different phases of flight.
  • Design multi-objective flight performance optimization approaches considering fuel consumption, flight time, cost, emissions, and operational constraints.
  • Evaluate developed performance models using appropriate validation and sensitivity analysis methods and formulate original solutions for complex flight operations.
