Knows the development of color phenomena and the science of color from ancient times to the present.--------
Will learn and understand the basic physics behind the phenomenon of light and color.--------
Will learn different chemical events, processes and chemical pigments that are important in color formation.--------
Will understand how colors are formed in living things and in nature, and what these colors mean and importance for living creatures and nature.--------
Knows and understands the place and importance of colors in different arts, and knows the importance and meaning of colors from past to present in different cultures.--------
Knows geological formation of gemstones and the different mechanisms behind their color in gemology or gemstones science.--------
Knows how colors are perceived and the physiology of color awareness.--------
Knows the basics of colorimetry, how to measure colors, standard color measurement methods and how to analyze color as a result of measurements.--------
