Week - 2 Concept of sustainability and preservation of cultural heritage. Sustainable management of cultural heritage and its relation to sustainable development goals.
Week - 3 Definition and classification of disasters. Impact of disasters on cultural heritage. Discussion of how historical structures, archaeological sites, and museums are affected by disasters.
Week - 4 Disaster risk management in cultural heritage sites. Risk assessment methods, risk reduction strategies.
Week - 5 Strategies for disaster prevention. Preventive measures, structural strengthening techniques. Post-disaster restoration strategies. Damage assessment, restoration planning and implementation processes.
