Weeks Topics
Week - 1 Introduction and overview of the course structure and objectives; identification of the materials and techniques to be used; briefing on the project to be completed by the midterm
Week - 2 The process of theme selection will be introduced; visual research appropriate to the chosen theme will be conducted, and a conceptual foundation will be established through literature review. A title will be chosen in accordance with the theme to guide the project, and visual and written sources will be created.
Week - 3 Based on the theme visual, sketches will be made to better understand the theme; various coloring techniques will be used on color, texture, and form
Week - 4 Based on the form of the theme visual, new solutions will be proposed based on design problems. For example, starting from the form of an armadillo, each student will conduct an original form research that aligns with their own discipline.
Week - 5 The coloring of the original form studies will be done, and one will be selected, with the final result being reached based on critiques.
Week - 6 The format for the board will be decided, and preparation for the board will be made.
Week - 7 The board presentations will be presented and evaluated within the class.
Week - 8 After the first midterm, the course structure and objectives will be explained; the materials and techniques to be used will be determined; and information about the project to be completed before the final exam will be provided.
Week - 9 Research on form, texture, and color will be conducted based on the theme visual
Week - 10 The forms drawn on paper will be transformed into three-dimensional representations and detailed through drawings from different angles.
Week - 11 Deciding on the technique and materials to be used for the three-dimensional form, and starting the implementation process.
Week - 12 Producing the three-dimensional form.
Week - 13 The format for the board will be decided, and preparation for the board will be made.
Week - 14 Presentation and evaluation of the board layouts and the three-dimensional product in class.
