Week - 1 Foundation unit, Foundation Concept. standards of important units, Position of Measurement and calibration in standard, classification of faults.
Week - 2 Measurement faults and characteristics of equipments, analyses of faults, standard symbols of measurement equipments.
Week - 3 Direct current measurements, principles of galvonometer, principles of ampermeter and voltmeter in direct current.
Week - 4 Calculation of pre-resistance in galvanometer, principles of multimeter.
Week - 5 Alternative Current Measurements, effect of frequency in A.C. measurement, principles of ampermeter and voltmeter in alternative current, principles of max.value voltmeter, measurement of different wave shapes, aims of measurement transformers.
Week - 6 Alternative Current Measurements, effect of frequency in A.C. measurement, principles of ampermeter and voltmeter in alternative current, principles of max.value voltmeter, measurement of different wave shapes, aims of measurement transformers.
Week - 7 Power and Work (energy) Measurements, concept of power and work in A.C and D.C circuits, measurement of power in A.C and D.C circuits, power in three phases A.C circuits, reactive power measurement.
