Week - 1 Introduction to Technical Drawing: Technical drawing basics, CAD programs. Drawing types and diagrams, their symbols, dimensions, tolerances and projections.
Week - 2 Aeronautical and other applicable standards including ISO, AN, MS, NAS and MIL, Introduction of CAD program interface (Creo Parametric 4.0).
Week - 3 2D Design: Creating geometries, Using 2D tools, Datum features.
Week - 4 2D Design: Dimensioning and using constraints.
Week - 5 3D Design: Extrude, Rounding corners, Chamfer, Creating 3D Drawing Examples.
Week - 6 3D Design: Revolve, rib, sweep, blend, hole commands.
Week - 7 3D Design: Creating object groups, Copying and mirroring objects, Creating patterns,
Week - 8 3D Design: Example drawings.
Week - 9 Measuring and inspecting models.
Week - 10 Assembly: Assembling with constraints.
Week - 11 Assembly: Assembling with Connections, Exploding Assemblies.
Week - 12 Mechanism Design: Creating mechanism connections, Configuring motion, Mechanism analysis.
