Week - 2 Key definitions and terms in room acoustics. Physical properties of sound and the effect of materials/surfaces
Week - 3 Physical properties of sound and the influence of materials/surfaces
Week - 4 Behavior of sound in spaces. Characteristics of outdoor and indoor acoustics.
Week - 5 Subjective and objective room acoustics parameters
Week - 6 Subjective and objective room acoustics parameters and measurements (introduction to measurement systems)
Week - 7 Subjective and objective room acoustics parameters. Example of reverberation time calculation.
Week - 8 Seminar 1: Topic 1: Sound-absorbing materials, examples, properties, application areas, details, and costs. Topic 2: Sound-diffusing materials, examples, properties, application areas, details, and costs
