To understand the logic of UAV autonomous flight systems, students apply basic algorithmic structures and Python syntax at a technical level; they learn the fundamental components of programming and how to implement them in flight scenarios.
It manages the data flow between the UAV and the ground station using the ArduPilot architecture and MAVLink communication protocols; it learns to send autonomous commands to the vehicle and read telemetry data via the DroneKit library.
Designs complex autonomous mission scenarios (route, takeoff, landing, etc.) on the SITL (Software In The Loop) simulation environment and Mission Planner interface; learns pre-flight mission validation and simulation techniques.
By analyzing pre-prepared code blocks and Python scripts, they eliminate logical errors; they learn to optimize flight missions according to operational safety criteria and mission requirements.
