Learning Outcomes
The student defines the subject and field of study of astrobotany.
The student will gain basic knowledge about the role of plants in space habitats and the challenges of growing plants in space.
The student will gain fundamental knowledge about the benefits and medical potential of space-based plant cultivation.
The student acquires basic knowledge about astrobotanical research instruments: Systems, BRIC, Clinostats and Biodomes.
