Week - 1 Conductive mechanism and electrical properties of conducting polymers
Week - 2 Electrochemical properties of conducting polymers, reversible oxidation ve reduction
Week - 3 Pseudocapacitance, swelling and de-swelling, electrochromism
Week - 4 Conducting polymers, smart materials. Conducting polymer-based electrochemical sensors; chemical sensors (potentiometric, conductometric, amperometric sensors)
Week - 5 Chemical sensors: the mechanism for the conductometry based sensors
Week - 6 Chemical sensors: the mechanism for the amperometry based sensors
Week - 7 Electrochemical / voltammetric sensors: conducting polymer-based electrochemical sensors: Cyclic voltammetry based sensors and their detection mechanism. Reversible, irreversible and quasi-reversible systems
Week - 8 Conducting polymer-based electrochemical sensors: chronoamperometry (controlled potential technique) based sensors and their detection mechanism
Week - 9 Conducting polymer-based electrochemical sensors: Anodic / cathodic stripping voltammetry, a branch of linear sweep voltammetry (controlled potential technique) based sensors and their detection mechanism
Week - 10 Conducting polymer-based electrochemical sensors: differential pulse voltammetry, a branch of square wave voltammetry (controlled potential technique) based sensors and their detection mechanism
