Profile of the Programme

The Distance Education Non-Thesis Master's Program in Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems is an interdisciplinary graduate program designed to provide students with theoretical and practical knowledge in remote sensing, geographic information systems, spatial data production, spatial analysis, data management, and application areas.

The program is offered through a distance education model and aims to equip students with the ability to follow current knowledge and technologies in the field, evaluate data, methods, and applications for solving spatial problems, produce spatial data, use basic analysis methods, and report the results obtained.

Graduates of the program gain the knowledge and skills necessary to take part in remote sensing- and geographic information systems-based studies in public institutions, local governments, private sector organizations, and various fields of practice. They can develop spatial solutions for sectoral and societal needs and contribute to interdisciplinary applications.
