Students could design CMOS gate circuits and obtain information for CMOS layout designs owing to MOS transistor working as a controlled switch.
Students could analysis CMOS gate circuits where they implement standard or comlex Boolean functions.
Students could make the characterization of the inverter circuits with the parameters of noise limit, propagation delay, power dissipation and make an inverter applications with one of the three transistor layout methods.
Students could design the CMOS inverters in terms of structure and circuit process, and could analysis their static and dynamic performances too.
Students will learn the design parameters of transistor sizing including the requirements of performance parameters of CMOS logic circuits.
Students could analysis the factors causing power dissipation in CMOS logic circuits. They could also learn the relation and balance between power dissipation and operation speed.
Students could have information for digital integrated circuit technologies.
