  • Comprehends the operational and testing principles of navigation and gyroscopic systems. Performs magnetic compass error calculations and on-aircraft checks according to technical standards. Safely conducts the replacement and functional testing of gyroscopic instrument components.
  • Executes the operational and maintenance processes of communication systems. Applies the usage and operational procedures of the VHF radio system. Executes component replacement and testing procedures in VHF and HF communication systems. Completes radio standing wave (SWR) measurement and tests using appropriate equipment.
  • Applies the calibration and testing steps of pitot-static and fuel indicating systems. Performs pitot-static instrument checks and calibration verification using a pitot-static test set. Safely carries out the functional testing of the fuel quantity indicating system.
  • Performs component replacement and testing of advanced navigation and air traffic systems. Manages component replacement and functional testing processes in VHF navigation systems. Conducts operational tests of ILS and VOR systems using appropriate test equipment. Completes component replacement and testing procedures for DME and ATC/TCAS systems in accordance with aviation standards.
