Apply workshop maintenance hangar safety rules ● Explain the need of safety precautions and the differences and name the different precautions. ● Explain the actions which should be taken in an event of a fire or accident. Shall use maintenance manuals, wiring diagrams and other maintenance documents ● Explain the ATA (Air Transport Association) definitions of aircraft group, system and sub-system. Carry out selection of correct equipment and tools ● Classify the different types of hand tools and explain the function. ● Perform caring of tools, controlling of tool and using of workshop materials. ● Recognize and identify if tools can be used for the task. Use equipment and tools properly and according to maintenance document ● Recognize the purpose of the tool, read the manuals and identify if the test equipment can be used. Apply correct measuring and inspections ● Explain the function of the different measuring tools ● Identify if the tool is calibrated/tested.
