Week - 1 Basic Definitions: Coordinate systems and axes; wing planforms; relationship between lift, weight, thrust and drag.
Week - 2 Lift Augmentation: Flaps, leading edge slots, slats, boundary layer control, slat and slotted flap combinations.
Week - 3 Flight Controls: Aerodynamic Balancing, Power Operated Control, Mass Balance, Three-Axis Control, Tabs.
Week - 4 Steady-State Flights: Steady level flight and its performance characteristics.
Week - 5 Steady-State Flights: Steady climb, steady descent and gliding, glide ratio.
Week - 6 Steady-State Flights: Steady climb, steady descent and gliding, glide ratio.
Week - 7 Basic Maneuvers: Coordinated turn, load factor, bank angle, stall.
Week - 8 Basic Maneuvers: Flight envelope and structural limitations, V-speeds.
Week - 9 Flight Stability: Basic concepts, static and dynamic stability.
Week - 10 Flight Stability: Effects of high speed flight on stability.
Week - 11 Flight Stability: Longitudinal stability, pitching moment.
