Week - 1 Apomorphies in the plants (Viridioplantae).
Week - 2 Life cycle in the green algae.
Week - 3 Life cycle in mosses, development in their gametophyte and sporophytes, and adaptations for the terrestial environment
Week - 4 Reproduction in ferns and allies, life cycles in isosporic and heterosporic Pteridophyta members. Tissues and organs of fern and allied groups such as Lycopsida, Sphenopsida, Pteropsida
Week - 5 Gymnosperms: Structure of cones, development of pollen and arkegonium, fertilization and seed development.
Week - 6 Structure and development of organs in Gymnosperms
Week - 7 Reproduction of Angiosperms: Microsporogenesis and megasporogenesis
Week - 8 Pollination and fertilization
Week - 9 Zigot and embrio, polyembriony, apomixis
Week - 10 Domancy in plants.
Week - 11 Physiologic and anatomic stages in seed germination
Week - 12 Essential tissue types in plants, differentiation. Root, development of root in some plant groups.
Week - 13 Stem, development of stem in some plant groups, shoot types, apical dominancy
Week - 14 Leaf, development of leaf in some plant groups, mechanism of abscision.
