Content

Weeks Topics
Week - 1 To familiarize the student with the airplane, and the local operating environment; to develop proficiency in basic operating procedures and fundementals.
Week - 2 Preflight inspection, use of checklist, engine starting and engine operations, radio communications, taxiing, departure procedures, level flight use of flight controls, turns, arrival procedures, approach and landing, engine shutdown procedures shown by the trainer.
Week - 3 Preflight inspection, use of checklist, engine starting and engine operations, radio communications, taxiing, departure procedures, level flight, use of flight controls, turns, arrival procedures, approach and landing, engine shutdown procedures shown by the trainer and apply together.
Week - 4 In this flight, student has the controls of airplane much more than before. Students are expected to do following objects: Filling the airplane log, use off checklist, engine start and radio communications, taxiing, shutdown engine procedures. Other items are apply together and shown by the trainer.
Week - 5 In this flight, students expected to apply: Preflight inspection, use of checklist, engine starting and engine operations, radio communications, taxiing, departure procedures, entering training area, level flight use of flight controls, turns, arrival procedures, approach and landing,low approach, engine shutdown procedures .
Week - 6 In this flight, students expected to apply: Preflight inspection, use of checklist, engine starting and engine operations, radio communications, taxiing, departure procedures, entering training area, level flight use of flight controls, turns, arrival procedures, approach and landing,go around, engine shutdown procesures . Power on stalls, power off stalls, characteristic stalls shown by the trainer. Students expected to do: 1 stop and go without flap, 1 low approach, 2 stop and go with flap and 1 FULL STOP landing.
Week - 7 (One for forced landing) In this flight, students expected to apply: Preflight inspection, use of checklist, engine starting and engine operations, radio communications, taxiing, departure procedures, entering training area, level flight use of flight controls, turns, arrival procedures, approach and landing,go around, engine shutdown procesures . Abort takeoff procedures, steep banked turns, high speed stalls, slow flight, spin avoidance are shown by the trainer. Students expected to do: 1 stop and go without flap, 1 low approach, 2 stop and go with flap and 1 FULL STOP landing.
Week - 8 (One for forced landing) In this flight, students expected to apply: Preflight inspection, use of checklist, engine starting and engine operations, radio communications, taxiing, departure procedures, entering training area, level flight use of flight controls, turns,power on stalls, spin avoidance, arrival procedures, approach and landing,go around, engine shutdown procesures . Steep banked turns, high speed stalls,full stall, slow flight, spin avoidance, forced landing training are shown by the trainer. Students expected to do: 1 stop and go without flap, 1 low approach, 2 stop and go with flap and 1 FULL STOP landing.
Week - 9 (One for forced landing) In this flight, students expected to apply: Preflight inspection, use of checklist, engine starting and engine operations, radio communications, taxiing, departure procedures, abort takeoff procedures, entering training area, level flight use of flight controls, turns,power off stalls, spin avoidance, steep banked turns, arrival procedures, approach and landing,go around, engine shutdown procesures . Precautionary landing with/without engine power are shown by the trainer. Students expected to do: 1 stop and go without flap, 1 low approach, 3 stop and go with flap and 1 FULL STOP landing.
Week - 10 In this flight, students expected to apply: Preflight inspection, use of checklist, engine starting and engine operations, radio communications, taxiing, departure procedures, abort takeoff procedures, entering training area, level flight use of flight controls, turns,all type of stalls, slow flight, spin avoidance, steep banked turns, arrival procedures, approach and landing,go around, engine shutdown procedures . Engine flight in flight procedures are shown by the trainer. Students expected to do: 1 low approach, 4 stop and go with flap and 1 FULL STOP landing.
Week - 11 (One for forced landing) In this flight, students expected to apply: Preflight inspection, use of checklist, engine starting and engine operations, radio communications, taxiing, departure procedures, abort takeoff procedures, entering training area, level flight use of flight controls, turns,all type of stalls, slow flight, spin avoidance, steep banked turns, arrival procedures, approach and landing,go around, engine shutdown procesures . Radio communication failure and ATC light signals, pogo training are shown by the trainer. Students expected to do: 1 low approach, 1 stop and go without flap, 3 stop and go with flap and 1 FULL STOP landing.
Week - 12 (One for forced landing) In this flight, students expected to apply: Preflight inspection, use of checklist, engine starting and engine operations, radio communications, taxiing, departure procedures, abort takeoff procedures, entering training area, level flight use of flight controls, turns,all type of stalls, slow flight, spin avoidance, steep banked turns, arrival procedures, approach and landing,go around, engine shutdown procedures . Engine flight in flight procedures are shown by the trainer. Students expected to do: 1 low approach, 4 stop and go with flap and 1 FULL STOP landing.
Week - 13 In this flight, traffic pattern is maintained. Forced landing and precautionary landing are trained. Fire extinguisher theoretical practice is trained. Students expected to do:Take off, 1 low approach, 1 stop and go without flap, 3 stop and go with flap and 1 FULL STOP landing.
Week - 14 Students flies with another trainer. Students expected to do:Take off and minimum 3 safety landing. After that student fly first solo flight.
