Week - 2 Morphological and spatial characteristics of rural settlements.
Week - 3 Effects of changing production and consumption patterns on rural space.
Week - 4 Spatial transformation in rural areas: population dynamics, migration, and urbanization impact.
Week - 5 Conservation problems in rural areas: physical degradation, cultural erosion, neglect.
Week - 6 Conservation approaches in rural areas: restoration, adaptive reuse, integrated protection.
Week - 7 Conservation of rural architectural heritage within the framework of international charters (UNESCO, ICOMOS, European Landscape Convention).
Week - 8 Case studies from the world: rural conservation projects from Europe, Asia, and USA.
Week - 9 National legal framework: legislation, institutions, and policies on rural heritage conservation in Turkey.
Week - 10 Rural conservation examples from Turkey: case studies such as Cumalıkızık, Birgi, Taraklı, Şirince.
Week - 11 Participatory conservation models: community involvement and local-based approaches.
Week - 12 Continuity of rural architectural heritage: sustainability, cultural transmission, and the impact of tourism.
Week - 13 Student presentations I: analysis and conservation proposals for selected rural settlements.
Week - 14 Student presentations II: evaluation, general discussion, and course wrap-up.
