# Field Qualifications
1 informs people concerned and institutions about the field-related matters and expresses his/her thoughts and solution suggestions orally, visually or in writing; shares the information with specialists and non- specialists by supporting it with quantitative and qualitative data.
2 acts with an awareness of the need for lifelong learning
3 demonstrates the knowledge and the understanding required to reflect the data on academic sharing environments by gathering discursive, theoretical, factual information and multi-dimensional knowledge covering professional service sensitivity in the local, regional, national and global context for design activities and research in the field.
4 demonstrates the necessary knowledge and understanding about the intellectual, discursive, scientific, technological, aesthetic, artistic, historical and cultural background in this context.
5 demonstrates the knowledge and understanding of environmentally friendly design/ research/ planning methods, which are individual and community oriented in the related field.
6 demonstrates the knowledge and understanding of principles, laws, regulations and standards of the field, and corporate and ethical values.
7 demonstrates the knowledge and understanding of the place / significance of related field in historical, geographical, social and cultural context.
8 demonstrates the skill concept development in the fields of design.
9 demonstrates the understanding of concepts, potential and problems and ability to define necessary researches in design issues.
10 uses theoretical / conceptual knowledge, cognitive and practical skills, research methods and techniques related to the field.
11 creates alternative design solutions; becomes skilful in interactive interdisciplinary design; uses the knowledge, understanding and skills in defining and interpreting the problems and developing solutions that present mastery and innovation.
12 conducts individual studies related to the field independently and takes responsibility in multi- disciplinary and super- disciplinary studies individually and corporately; demonstrates the necessary self-confidence and proficiency to do it.  
13 plans the mutual works in a design project; takes responsibility and conducts it.
14 uses a computer software in advanced level and the required information (information and communication) technologies interactively.
15 demonstrates recognition for ethics and codes of conduct and a sense of social responsibility during the professional practice and the research related to the field.
16 collects, evaluates, and interprets the data that will form the basis in the design process in order to be able to decide by considering the possible social, environmental, and ethical results
17 evaluates the current knowledge in the field in a critical and dialectical approach, uses existing knowledge, understanding and skills with a professional approach required by his/her discipline, in the light of ethical principles, professional behaviour rules, criteria, standards by considering expected social, environmental and ethical results in accordance with legislative frameworks.
18 demonstrates awareness and knowledge of local, regional, national, and global general and vocational problems in the historical period s/he lives in.
