Profile of the Programme

Logistics, as a complement to every commercial activity, includes storage, stocking, transportation, packaging, handling, customer service, etc. It is the business discipline that ensures the proper management of many activities. With the "Logistics Management" master's program without thesis, it aims to provide logistics management knowledge within the framework of lifelong learning to individuals working in the sector, aiming to work or just wanting to increase their academic knowledge.

Logistics, one of the most important fields of activity of the service sector, has a strategic importance in the development indicators of countries. The field, which can be considered new in academic terms, has a shortage of qualified personnel. Established within the body of Eskişehir Technical University, the program consists of expert academics who are involved in many projects in the field. Logistics management needs field knowledge for different disciplines. In the program; Experienced academic staff, who are experts in industrial engineering, business, economics and communication, will provide you with the most accurate and simple information in line with your expectations.

The program, which provides elective courses in many different disciplines such as logistics principles, applications, transportation systems, planning, modeling, design, logistics communication, will offer strategic and solution-oriented education.

Logistics management master's program aims to help people who directly or indirectly contribute to the logistics process, work or aim to work in the field, vehicle, warehouse or desk, in line with the basic principles of logistics, to gain strategic and analytical thinking ability or to take their professional equipment to a higher level. The program is aimed at those who work in the logistics sector, whose undergraduate education is outside the field of logistics, who want to increase their academic knowledge, who want to increase their academic knowledge or who want to work in the logistics sector.

Recognition of Prior Learning

Depending on the degrees awarded, theoretical or practical courses taken as part of a degree (completed or not completed) may lead to recognition of these as prior learning by the programme administration. The students who have taken courses in another institution in Turkey or abroad can ask for credit and grade transfer. The executive boards of relevant programme will decide on the courses to be transferred covering students' entire academic program once and for all with the condition that the request for transfer be made within the first week of the academic year, the requests cannot be repeated.

Qualification Requirements and Regulations

A student is required to successfully complete a minimum of 10 courses, not less than 75 ECTS credits and complete a term project, have a minimum GPA of 2.50/4.00 and no letter grades lower than CC and YT.

Access to Further Studies

May apply to doctorate programmes in any field or proficiency in fine arts programmes.

Graduates are employed in production, storage, transportation, marketing departments of all organizations and logistics companies that provide services such as cargo, transportation and e-commerce and can plan a career in this field.
