  • knows the Human Physiology and limitations regarding aviation.
  • understands the risk factors and their potential negative impacts in human physiology.
  • receives the first information on CRM (Crew Resource Management) with regard to avoiding and managing errors, cockpit management, situational awareness, co-ordination (multi-crew concept), comparing the team coordination during training phase and commercial flight operation.
  • perceives CRM (Crew Resource Management) concept related with the following topics including the advantages and disadvantages of team work, the factors effecting the human behaviour, leadership and followership issues, and the duty and role of the pilot in command (PIC).
  • perceives the importance of communication on CRM (Crew Resource Management) by learning the differences of verbal and non-verbal communication, the different levels of communication, major obstacles to effective communication, communication techniques in preventing or solving conflicts.
  • perceives the importance of personality on CRM (Crew Resource Management) by learning the differences between personality, attitude and behaviour; individual differences in personality, the personal traits that threats flight safety.
  • Student receives information on hearing and defects. He/she also learns the noise induced hearing loss, vision and vision problems.
  • learns the physiological layers of atmosphere and gas laws together with their impact on aviation physiology.
  • learns the physiological effects of changes in barometric pressures, decompression sicknesses, acceleration physiology from aviation point of view.
  • receives information on spatial disorientation and / or vertigo in flight as well as health and hygiene, obesity, alcohol and prevention from toxicological materials.
  • learns information processing, attention and vigilance, perception, memory, learning, stress, body rhythms and sleep problems together with their potential impacts on aviation physiology.
