Week - 1 |
(VFR Navigation Flight – 04) Student fly a cross country flight with another trainer. Student are expected to do engine failure during takeoff roll procedures and homing procedures. After cross country flight, all air maneuvers work in training area and student get marks on this flight. |
Week - 2 |
( 3 final approach) (One for forced landing) Short field takeoff and landing are shown by the trainer. Student must know, homing with ADF/VOR techniques. Engine failure immediately after take off and electrical fire in flight emergencies are applied. Students are expected to do: 1 touch and go without flap, one stop and go and 1 FULL STOP with flap. |
Week - 3 |
Engine fire during start on ground procedures are applied. Crosswind approach and landing are shown by the trainer |
Week - 4 |
(SOLO) In this flight, traffic pattern is maintained. Students expected to do: 1 low approach and go around, 1 full stop and after full stop student request line up again and departure again. After departure traffic pattern is maintained and 1 full stop is applied |
Week - 5 |
Chandelles and lazy eight maneuvers are shown by trainer. Homing with ADF/VOR techniques are shown by the trainer. Crosswind landing technique shown and applied. |
Week - 6 |
(SOLO) In this flight, traffic pattern is maintained. Students expected to do: 2 low approach and go around, 2 full stop landing. |
Week - 7 |

Week - 9 |
(VFR Navigation Flight – 01) A cross country flight is planned as 01.15 -General acknowlements on map, -Filling the flight plan, -Checking up MTO’ s and NOTAM s -General information about unfamiliar airports. Takeoff, climbing, creating a LOP, flying on cross country level, using of trim tab, map reading, using of flight log, speed control, altitude control, heading control and correction, course control, wind correction, course maintaining, learning checkpoints, using of radio navaid devices, unfamiliar airport operations, approach and traffic pattern are studied with trainer |
Week - 10 |
.(SOLO) Student goes to training area as SOLO. Steep banked turns, power on stalls, power off stalls, slow flight and normal bak turns are studies by the student. Flight is completed with one FULL STOP landing. If necessarry, student can go around or land without flap. |
Week - 11 |
Week 10:
(VFR Navigation Flight – 02) A cross country flight is planned as 01.30 and students should know about the items when they get lost. Radar vectoring is worked. |
Week - 12 |
(SOLO) Student goes to training area as SOLO. Steep banked turns, power on stalls, and normal bak turns, characteristic stall are studies by the student. Flight is completed with one FULL STOP landing. |
Week - 13 |
(VFR Navigation Flight – 03) A cross country flight is planned as 01.30 and students give briefing about unfamiliar airport. Short-cut and homing with ADF/VOR devices practiced with trainer. |
Week - 14 |
flight, students expected to apply: Preflight inspection, use of checklist, engine starting and engine operations, radio communications, taxiing, departure procedures, abort takeoff procedures, entering training area, level flight use of flight controls, turns,all type of stalls, slow flight, spin avoidance, steep banked turns, arrival procedures, approach and landing,go around, engine shutdown procesures . Engine flight in flight procedures are shown by the trainer. Students expected to do: 1 low approach, 4 stop and go with flap and 1 FULL STOP landing. |
Week - 15 |
