Week - 1 Introduction to SCADA; Early development and implementations of SCADA systems, signal processing, SCADA software, What documentation matters.
Week - 2 Software components of SCADA systems; hardware components of SCADA systems, Network topologies, controllers, terminals and workstations, communication systems for SCADA
Week - 3 Software design process for SCADA; Lifecycle of a SCADA sytem project, requirements and usecases, dataabase design, softaware development, FAT, SAT phases.
Week - 4 Documentation, mission critical components of software, database management software, documents delivered.
Week - 5 Signals naming and tagging. structure of tagging, compoents of a tag, component design and implementation.
Week - 6 Software for database managment systems. I/O signals, data structures in software running on controllers, database tables design and implementation.
Week - 7 Logical Process Controllers, need for logical process controller, definitions of logical process controllers, grouping of LPC and implemention.
Week - 8 User manuals; Why user manulas are necessary? Structure of a user manual, Sections of a user manual.
Week - 9 Designing controller software for SCADA; Algortihm design and structure of a programme. Mdoular organization of I/O signals, documantation and develeopment, programming styles.
Week - 10 Software for workstations; Visualising and presentation of information, alerts and warnings, monitoring trand analysis
Week - 11 SCADA implementation, FAT and SAT phases.
