Week - 1 Long-distance running: definition, historical development, classification of disciplines, energy systems, and fundamental characteristics.
Week - 2 Middle and long-distance running: Characteristics and current trends of 800m, 1500m, 3000m, 5000m, 10,000m, half marathon and marathon events.
Week - 3 Middle and long-distance running in children: growth and development characteristics, training principles according to age groups, and points to consider.
Week - 4 An introduction to coordination, technical running exercises, tempo runs, interval training, and fartlek exercises.
Week - 5 The concept of aerobic endurance, continuous running, interval training, and planning endurance training.
Week - 6 EN: The concept of aerobic endurance, continuous running, interval training, and planning endurance training.
Week - 7 Characteristics of mountain running, physiological requirements, altitude training, and application examples.
Week - 8 Characteristics of cross-country running, training tailored to terrain, and sample training programs.
